Because all the good players left tf2 for overwatch
and they degenerated
You want good players, and consider yourself a good player? Start teaching newbies. They'll be the good players of tomorrow.
If you keep telling them how bad they are and how much they suck, yes. If you help them improve and teach them how to play, they'll stick around more.
I'm a very good proof of that. I was taught how to play, and stayed for nearly 3 years now.
I can teach them all I want, but the majority of them won't read it. They play their own little game going for a positive KD.
That doesn't make you proof, that makes you an exception.
Oh wow, so everyone who sticks around for years is an exception then? Good to know.
And I've tried to give people some advice, and they usually take it and try it. In fact, one of my teams trained a newbie Spy we had, and the guy ended up doing much better than when he started.
It's also the way you say things. If you tell them to do things your way like they were orders, of course they won't follow you.
Well done, you've made an anecdote.
Surprisingly enough, if they don't want to listen they won't listen. You can phrase it however you want, some people can't be swayed.
Oh, SPUF comebacks, I almost forgot about them. I actually miss those forums, but I still haven't received the message of my account being accepted from the new forum.
Also, I think we can safely say, for both of us, that each one plays the game the way they want. I mean, I'm not saint, and I also rage if my team is performing poorly, but that doesn't mean I can't have a little patience with those I know are just starting, instead of being like this guy who's all "Uuuuh, I can't plaeeeeyyy becus bad peeeple!!".
Nice to see you're still paying attention to spuf though...
Before I forget, their email system is borked. Just try logging in and seeing if it works.
