The downside is practically non-exsistant on GRU if your smart...
The only real other melee I use is Fists of Steel...
Also because *eviction Notices your bulge OwO brass ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ knuckles man
Eviction Notice gives about the same speed boost, it just has a lesser vulnerabililty penalty to make up for having to hit an enemy for the speed boost.
Eviction Notice takes a melee hit to pop, so it's a little annoying to use, but if you take the GRU into battle, you better have a medic or a decent team or you'll just get killed on the way.
The 'Marked for Death' marker is basically a bright neon sign saying 'Please come kill me!'
Plus the GRU makes you take minicrits, which has no falloff.
The GRU is great for 5cp initial rollouts but the Eviction Notice is for better mobility, plus you can actually use the Eviction Notice to punch people.
Thx for the heads up, I typically don't play heavy much, and even then, I usually just use the Holiday Punch for taunt killing the (for some reason) immobile F2P snipers that stand in the same spot every time I kill them.
with the gru, you would have to put it away early to avoid eating massive minicrit damage when you actually get to the fight
en has faster switch speed and only a minor downside when held out, so you can get more distance out of it before having to put it away, compensating for the 'lost' speed over the gru
