True Ending?

Renardo either dies, destroyes the entire universe or gets corrupted by the Iblis Stone. I've unlocked all endings and all fo them end up badly. Is there no good ending?

There is a true ending that you haven't experienced yet. Now that you have each of the truths you can go through a set of choices to get it. The game gave me a big key symbol when I started my fifth run which started me down the true ending path.

Oh yeah I noticed that but when it appeared I'd chosen all the different endings after rescuing Lapino.

I hope i can explain it right. On your screenshot i see that you haven't the big statue on the right side. That is what you need/want.

1st i have played 4 times to become the 4 thruth path's. 5th run i choose to rescue Lupino again. He has a golden symbol at the right side. At this point Reynard nows already that Lupino is a spy.

At the end Reynard tells him where the core is, because he has a plan. Lupino runs away with the map Reynard gave him. If i remember right i have choosen than to meet the Cat Girl (forgot her name^^). I have telled her that her "father" is evil and she believes me. Than i meet Lupino again and, it is the plan, i tell him where the evil stone is because the evil frog king has taken the core and Reynard thinks that Lupino get's evil with it and fights the frog king.

The cat girl says that she must go and take something... Later Reynard found out that she has taken the evil stone from Lupino and want to meet her again. I can convince her not to use the stone again. The plan now was to go with her to a friendly island and i must catch his flight machine. After that both fly away and the true end comes.

So, I just got the True Ending - and is this really the only winning path? Because given Reynard's knowledge, there are plenty of other paths he could've taken - some of the Bad Ends only needed a slight modification to be Good Ends - Story 8 for example. It even ends with "he knew what he should've said just now, but it was already too late" - well redoing Story 8 should let him say it, right?

Or even the True Ending itself - he should be able to save the Rebel Council quite easily! He doesn't even need to let the cat get the stone now that he knows she's after it, or if he does he could let the Council know ahead of time to evacuate. How did she get there before he did in the first place, since he has the Fastest Ship and all, and what was Lupino doing there when he should've been on his way to kill the Emperor by that point?

Hell even the "Game Over" with the splitting mirror - just have it reflect the stone by itself so Reynard's doesn't get split.
