I finally got around to finishing off the Sword-Fu Master achievement yesterday, so I thought I'd share some tips...

1. You will likely have to grind XP at some point. The best place to do so is the final chapter of the True Hero story. When you finish the final battle, exit to the main menu before the final narration takes place. You retain all the XP earned and can then select "continue" to repeat that chapter. Lather, rinse, repeat. HOWEVER, if you don't complete the chapter before logging out of the game, you'll lose all the XP gained since the game was last saved at the completion of the previous chapter.

2. Make sure you wait for the XP from the final battle to get added to your total before exiting to the menu. If you exit too quickly, it's possible to not get the ~4,000 XP for that battle. Wait until you see the XP-to-next-level counter register before you return to the main menu.

3. At some point, the XP requirement for a new level becomes a flat 30,000. If you've been saving stories that reward bonus levels, you can do them at any time after hitting that XP/level cap. No need to save them for the very end. Do save them until you hit the XP/level cap, though - no sense wasting them on "cheaper" levels.

4. Bonus levels awarded by completing certain stories just advance the XP counter to the next level. Meaining if you're at 29,900 / 30,000 XP required for the next level, you'll only get 100 XP as a reward. So make sure to level up in the final chapter before completing the story. If you need to, repeat the last chapter using the technique in #1 above. Otherwise, you're essentially wasting a level-up (*cough* voice-of-experience speaking *cough*).

Really wish I could Cheat Engine for the achievement, but... Guess it's grind time
