game keeps softlocking

So, after a bunch of restarts and reinstalls, I got the game to work but again we're back to soft locking after every so many minutes. I have to exit completely out of Steam to get the game to fully close.

Does ANYONE have any idea wth is wrong?

Interestingly it was fine for me right up until towards the end of the fourth act, then it started doing this.

Just get it on BF. The STEAM edition has always been riddled with bugs. Something to do with it being incompatible with the STEAM interface.

Same here! I cannot STOP the game even when I already clicked on it.

It got so bad another friend over seas bought the game and while we were crashing every... 10-15 minutes or so, the progress wasn't wiped each time, just sometimes. It took him at least 6 hours to get to where we'd left off about 2/3rds of the way into the game.

If the Steam interface is broken, why do they keep selling it here? None of us should have to buy the game twice, if it's broken, remove it.

Its not only Steam. I have this problem here, and with the collectors edition I bought at Big Fish Games.
