VRChat
Why the Dynamic Bones Limit.?
Here we are again with an unknown Update on some Day..
I thought my Dynamic Bones where broken but it wasen´t
Its good that it just was this Update..

But we go on our main Topic here..
The New Dynamic Bone Limit system

If you dont know and want to find this new Limit Option, Sure do
There are just Three Steps:

<> Open Your Menu (Desktop: Escap/Esc.) (Vr Users, they know what to do..)
<> Press the Safety Option (In Menu..)
<>And now in the Safety Menu (Top Rigth Corner is a new Button called: "Performance
Options")

What does this new Limit means..?
- It just means that there are Limits to your Dynamic Bones
Example: ( Your Character have an Tail and it doesent move anymore.. (It just thinks too
many and turns it off..)

-This Limit can maybe get you some FPS back into the game but i guess sometimes you want
to look good.. so.. it means nothing to me..

Advice from me..?
- Turn it off.. (Dont know how..? Just uncheck the Box..)

If Turned off you see everything Moving....

But now there comes the Part why is this Discussion here..?

Its just for some Reasons:

<> Explanation what this new Update brought to us..
<> What it does..
<> Advices
<> And my Problem with it..

Here comes my Problem with it

Why did they add that its like.. everyone is getting scared (Example.. Uhh why arent my Dynamic Bones working.. What did happen..) ---> And everyone is shocked..

But if you turned it Off its all fine but not for others..
If they didn´t turned it off
They can´t see your Dynamic Bones then.. (Its like just stiff with every Tail, Ears, Chakles and
more..)

Thats why it makes no sense to me..
If you can´t be seen because still people, dont know what it is and dont know the option because most people dont even read the Patch Notes..

Well this is the End of my Discussion feel free to give your Advices or Complains about the Patch Note with this new Option or what you dont like to my.. Speaking..
I won´t be mad at it just feel free to write..
I just want to gain some Information from the Community from VrChat

Have a Great Day and See you maybe Soon in game..

I don't get why they didn't just make the dynamic bones limiter part of the ranking system itself. That way, you could save your processing power to see your friends' dynamic bone transformations at the expense of randoms in the pug. They could even have allowed a different number of dynamic bones at each rank-up, with the option of having friends and oneself unlimited by default while still limiting other people you might not know so well.

But oh well, whatevs. I guess it's an attempt to globally optimize things. Which is the number one complaint, I imagine. So of course it has to be on by default because no one reads the patch notes and will know to turn it on otherwise.

There's a large number of people in the community with the blind belief that dynamic bones are the devil and must be purged from the game, no thanks to a single Youtube video spread by none other than the community manager himself. I'm sorry buddy, but a video of several of your avatars with a dynbone script on the hip bones wiggling around in unity isn't exactly an equivalent environment to a VRC world.

Everyone sensible I've talked to has agreed that their impact on performance (yes even with colliders) is minimal, if not non-existent. Yes, even a pug full of people in perf-intensive avatars, they are not the leading cause of any fps drops. It's even more absurd to suggest cloth physics as a viable alternative for anything that isn't...cloth? Yet I witness people on a regular basis that swear by these 'facts' instead of finding out for themselves. I understand that people with toaster hardware probably can't handle physics calculations as well as someone with an actual VR-ready desktop, but that's their problem and I'm not going to limit my avatar's physics to cater to these individuals when they can just hide my avatar or leave.

By the way, the cherry on top is the fact that turning on the 'limiter' actually drops FPS for a lot of people than having it turned off. Funny, that.
Yup one agree for you..
