it would be nice to see leap motion support in this game, i own one, but the steamvr driver for it no longer functions. its decent hand tracking for around 30 dollars, seems like quite an attractive feature for vrchat, as i really enjoy using it. im not sure what kind of development time it would take. although as an owner of a dk2, i dont have the option to use oculus touch or vive controllers, so this feature is something me and many other dk2 owners look forward to.

Leap's tracking isn't horrible in my experience, it's just that it's designed for desktop use rather than room-based VR. It's cheaper than a full PS Move kit or Oculus/Vive controllers and is the only thing that accurately tracks finger/hand motions.

It's pretty good if you want a VR "controller" but don't plan on getting a Vive/Oculus set. I'd really like to see it supported officially in more games.

all the vr apps that use leap tracking (besides the ones with beta support for leap) work incredibly well, try the Blocks vr app for leap motion..... more a concept than anything, but its a very well working concept at that. all in all, its not perfect, but its accurate enough, roughly 95% with native supported apps using the orion update. so for something like vrchat, it would be perfect, its not something where accuracy is much of a factor as long as it mostly works. how ELSE could you truely get the immersive experience of patting peoples heads.
