this is what im asking , its confusing , game says its not allowed , people say its somewhat allowed and when you upload avatar it gives you lots "options to label your upload" from mature to full adult to nudity
would be less confusing if they did what Second life did
If you wish for this game to become Second Life VR, then be prepared to witness the game having as much furries and online pornstars as there is anime, as well as microtransactions and a requirement to pay rent for your home world, making the game "deader" than it is after the Ugandan incident.
you know , there are not many games with "sex" and SL rode that card for long and only reason SL was relevant that long
sex sells
if they think this is going to be game for teens/children , these dont buy VR headsets most of time
There is a huge difference between Second Life and VRChat. Second Life has been banned from streaming on twitch, as it has been labeled as an "adult" game, even if the adult content is behind a wall. Thus far, VRChat has not been banned from streaming on twitch. The moment an "adult" option is available on VRChat, it will be banned from streaming as well, most likely. Since streaming on twitch is one of the very few ways VRChat's popularity can be spread, it is unlikely that VRChat itself will shoot itself in the proverbial foot by doing this.
So, yes, report all instances you see of adult content in public lobbies, and all that. I imagine the mod team is very serious about maintaining the current roughly-T content rating. And yes, they have banned people for having an adult-oriented image that appears on profiles/friendlists.
In practice, the mods tend to be hands-off about what goes on in private rooms, although I have heard of them banning entire rooms of people in private worlds before when a certain lines were crossed.
