But I would agree to put a chat system tho this game.
This game straight up doesn't have the deaf, hearing impaired, or severe social anxiety communities in mind at all.
I agree with you. That's why VRChat failed to become a global phenomenon - it discriminates against its players and creates rifts between them. Online games and virtual reality were supposed to bring folks together, not divide them. So far, VRChat Inc. has only succeeded in dividing people.
I'm not trying to bully you or anything but... if you can't run the game than you can't run it.
Also, I'm not sure how this would work...
You would have a textbox for chating? What about VR users? they won't be able to see it...
Also, about the "no support for deaf ppl"; there is a bunch of avatars that have pens that can be used to write. And there is alway those worlds that do have pens that can be used for communications. There is other ways than microphone to communicate; my irl mute friend use signs language for example.
Again, I'm really sorry that some of you get bullied (which is silly since I see a lot of ppl who never open their mic and that include VR user (I mostly have my mic off myself since social anxiety disorder reasons)).
Please don't add typing, maybe for private messaging somebody or sending a message to a friend in another world, but in the main worlds (public & private) this I think would be annoying & immersion breaking. hmm...
In other words you support the discrimination against disabled players.
One of my friend who is Mute irl use sign language. There is also TTS software you can use (TTS as Text-to-speech).
Another of my friend, who for some reason have retardly bad mic issues while in VRChat use discord + cellphone to talk to me and some other friends.
I also saw ppl using a gesture that bring out a big sign with a bunch of word or small sentence and they just point at one of them to communicate with other ppl (like pointing at "yes" to let the other know that they say "yes")
