Game crashing only when loading a second video in the media player
Been going on for a while now, if my friend or i load a second video into the media player, the screen freezes (i can still move and hear my friends though, but cant tell where i am as it freezes on the last frame when the video starts loading). if i wait long enough the game closes itself, and if i try to load the game up without restarting my whole pc i get an error when EAC is loading. i fix that by restarting a second time, and deleting the EAC EOS.sys and reloading the game, but generally i just restart my pc right after it crashes to save the hassle.

tried updating/reinstalling my GeForce drivers, reinstalling the game, replacing the yt-dlp file when i load into the world and before loading the second video, with the windows 7 one as was mentioned in another post.

Kinda at a loss man i just want to watch party with friends

im using an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-core processor and 16gb ram

Paste bin link: https://pastebin.com/MJ55SSvS

Edit: ive also tried removing the AVProVideo.dll in hopes it would reinstall the plugin, but it didnt reinstall it. even swapped mine out for my friends working .dll and it still crashes

The EAC error has stopped so i dont need to restart my pc every time it happens now at least

what worked for me was opening steam, going to vrchat properties and in the text box for launch settings i pasted this:
--disable-hw-video-decoding
not sure why it worked for me but at least im not crashing

If this doesn't work, try turning off vsync in the NVIDIA Control Panel

I have this problem for so long now. Nothing seems to work. When I'm in a world that plays videos on the video player and it switches to the next track, my game (being on non-vr mode or vr mode, both have this problem) freezes of a second and then goes back to normal. When I put a youtube link into the url bar of the video player and press enter, the same thing happens.

This happens when I'm the only one in my home world or if I'm with a group of people in another world. Whenever the video changes, my game freezes for a bit.

Worst part is it doesn't happen for some days sometimes and then it comes back. its so frustrating because all the solutions don't work.

Glad I'm not the only one tho.

Did you ever find a solution? I'm having the same issue.

I managed to find something that worked. I have Panda Dome on my pc and when I turn off the option "scan compressed files" in the antivirus settings, it doesn't happen anymore.
