Random IP ban or blocked?

As the title says, my IP has been banned or blocked resulting in my not being able to log into Vrchat or the website. I do not run a VPN because I never thought that I would need to use one when I tend to be in private lobbies talking with friends. Each time I try to log on through steam it tells me that I need a valid internet connection (when I know that I have one) but when I go to vrchat.com and try to log into my account it throws , Error 1005 What happened?
The owner of this website (vrchat.com) has banned the autonomous system number (ASN) your IP address is in (ip stuff) from accessing this website. I have tried reaching out on twitter with no response and even thought that maybe opening a ticket might sort things out but in the conformation email that I got, says that they might not even bother looking or even responding. I just wanted to play some Vrchat but this has been a real damper on everything making the want to play just not viable any more.

please see my follow up, vrchat has essentially decided banning entire ISPs and cutting out users who have done no wrong is an acceptable thing to do, and may have done so for you
