VRChat
VRChat on Chromebook Linux with Wine to run the.exe file doesnt work at all. What should I do ?
Long story short, I have a Chromebook and I tried to install Steam with the Linux thing Chromebook offer. Been a pain in the ass to be able to install Steam and then Wine (because you can't run .exe files on Chromebook) and Iearned 2 things. The first thing is that Chromebook is REALLY not made for gaming and the second is that I really don't like when you gotta search for hours what to type in the terminal for things that you could do by clicking on three or four buttons on Windows. Anyway, back to the issue, the title is a bit misleading because it's actually working, but not quite. Lemme explain, when I launch VRC on Steam, it's says launching in blue text and then running in green text like usual. Then a window with a linux logo pop up on the screen and it's actually the VRC initialization window, then like 3 seconds after it disappears, only for some moments later to have another window pop up with the linux logo once again, but this time it's all black and it closes by itself and I can see on Steam that literally just after the black screen closes by itself, the green "running" text disappears. So the problem is that VRC seems to just can't be able to launches completely with the Wine thing. Also if you wanna know how much disk storage the Linux OS has access on my Chromebook, it has 13.1 Go (it reccomands to let Linux access to atleast 10 Go) and literally cannot do better than this. Maybe the Wine programm with Steam and VRChat is just more than 13.1 Go because I keep getting notifications that Linux is almost saturated. Anyway thanks for everyone who reads this and find something hoping it'll get the whole shabbang to just work.
