No way to remove someone from the friend's list?

Hello, I hadn't played VR Chat in a while and I was reminded that I had friended someone who used to be an actual friend but since then is someone who has hurt me outside of the game. I no longer feel safe near or around the individual but I have no way to remove them from the list. Report system only works for in game behavior and is a waste to try it. How can I remove a singular person off of the friend's list?

Edit: It's worth adding that I use Linux and thus any normal "just install this windows application" will likely not work unless it's available on steam already.

if you fear them why just remove them? BLOCK THEM.
and you remove them by selecting them and hitting unfriend. (go to socal list then scroll down to "all friends")
