Can't gift VRC+ at the moment

The day before yesterday I was able to gift a subscription through Steam VR without issue - the authorize purchase window through Steam overlay came up just fine. But ever since yesterday, the 'processing transaction' pop-up stays up and doesn't take me to the Steam overlay page. I am assuming there was a possible update to VRC here on Steam as there was an update notification over in the Meta app.

I have a subscription purchase waiting for a friend as soon as this issue is resolved. Thank you magical devs, you are the best!
