Concerns over False Cheating Claims

NO, before you even say it, I have not nor will I ever use a client in this game and people that use them deserve to be mega banned.

Recently I've had 3 of this exact same event happen to me and 2 other friends and it concerns me about what the hell is going on with Anti Cheat.

I start up VRC, just hopped on my quest 2 and used Virtual Desktop and was ready to play. I get in my home world and not even 4 seconds later before my avatar even loads the game abruptly ends and it said something alone the lines of "game session ended, Reason: Cheating" on screen.

Keep in mind I immediately rebooted VRC and it worked fine and hasn't done it again since. I didn't have other tabs open at the time, I didn't have a vpn going on in the background, I dont mess with the games files, I obey the rules because I like playing this game and I like the community (sometimes).

I didn't think anything of it until it just happened to 2 of my other friends, who like me do NOT use cheats, just like them rebooting the game fixes it like nothing happened.

I'm concerned if this is marking my account with a false flag for cheating. Does ANYONE know what the hell this is and why it apparently keeps happening to people?

How recently exactly? Because in the past 24 hours or so VRChat has been having issues like you and other people have been talking about, I probably wouldn't worry about it too much.

Mine was about a week ago, my friends has it happen 10 minutes before I posted

i used to play Pavlov and i'd always get kicked every once in a while cause EAC pops a false positive; though like what shadow said VRC was having issues and i also got booted by EAC cause of this

it doesn't actually flag your account or ban you (it shouldn't), it's just EAC not being able to verify if you're legit and defaulting to kicking you off the game so you gotta reconnect
