VRChat
Update completely broke VRC for me? Help?
When my game updated today, the game failed to launch and I got error message: Could not locate game binary: D:/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/VRchat/VRchat.exe

*I specifically install to my D drive because it has 2TB of free space.
I checked the folder and sure enough the .exe was missing.

so i said, ok, i'll uninstall / re-install. and then that's when Steam says disk write error. It gets to almost being done downloading the game, and then says disk write error. There appears to be no issue with my drive because I can open other games and files from it?

Things I have tried:
-Restarted Steam
-Shut down/restarted entire PC
-Verifying integrity of game files (it says 1 file was missing and would be replaced, but this doesn't happen and/or doesn't fix the problem)

Anyone else dealing with this?

maybe run chkdsk instead.... id post a link but googling how to check the drive for errors would be quicker.

It's an antivirus issue. It deletes the vrchat.exe now.

Which antivirus? Windows, Avast? I have Avast also. How do you fix it? I checked Windows Defender and vrchat is checked as an allowed app.

It was working for about a week and has started blocking/deleting the file again. I repeated all steps and even turned off Windows Defender/Firewall and Avast completely to no avail. Does ANYONE have a solution to this?
