Mic not picking up

In game my mic is not being picked up at all. I'm on desktop, windows PC, no VR headset.

I can confirm two things.

1. My mic is working. I've triple checked the settings, listened to it, checked it's plugged in. It works fine, it works in every other game, but it doesn't work in VRChat.

2. My mic settings in VRChat are also fine. The volume is all the way up, the correct device is selected, I've tried with and without noise suppression, I've tried with different thresholds. And yes, my mic is ON. I use the toggle feature.

This is really frustrating. All other audio is fine.

Mic Activation Threshold: Default 5%

its a noise gate set it to 0% and see if vrc picks you up, also it doubles as the vu meter that lets you see what it picks up even muted

As I said in my post, I've altered the threshold to no avail. Also, there is not indication of the mic being picked up on this meter, which on confirms that the game isn't detecting the mic at all.

Me Talking: I have this exact same problem and I found a very old YouTube video of another person with Vrc from a older version that had the exact same problem. So far. No solution has been found.
