xbox one controller issues

Yesterday night my xbox one controller on VR chat was working fine. Today it wont work or respond at all and I have absolutely no idea on what to do. please help.

I am actually having the same issue. The last time I was on VR it was with an oculus rift a friend gave to me. I wanted to use non-vr today because I had a headache and just wanted to enjoy it normally but now all the sudden I can't get any response from my controller. I tried un plug and re plug, uninstalling vr chat and re-installing, selecting new bindings which I and even entirely remapping everything (which involved me using the same exact controller during the process and worked there btw), enabling in the game properties, disabling and re-enabling in properties, setting them back to default which also shows that the controller is registered and working and restarting my entire laptop for any luck and still can't get my XB1 controller to work anymore in non-vr vr chat

I too have similar issues. Anytime i try to use my PS4 or Switch Pro controllers on vrchat they bug out which makes it impossible to play. This issue started only a few days ago and it occurs only with vrchat. To make matters worse, at this present moment the mid section of my keyboard is broken (a,s,d,f,g,h,j,k,l, etc.) Which means i cannot play with keyboard and mouse either. I was totally fine using controllers before but this issue suddenly popped up and it's a real thorn in the side. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think they just need to update the game! it's been happening to me too since the June 3rd update. I'll just keep walking forward any playing with the analog sticks just causes menus to go crazy. They seem to be fiddling with controller support in more recent updates.
