VRChat not updating

I'm not sure why, but VRChat refuses to update. I had just reinstalled the game yesterday so I didn't know anything was wrong, but when I was complaining about touch to talk, my friend told me that I could turn it off in the settings. I was confused because the settings were completely bare for me. When I screenshotted and showed him, he told me that I hadn't updated it because I still had the old launchpad.

I was like, okay! So I just tried to update it, but it didn't work. It said there were no updates. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice and both times it was the same. Is there anyway to fix this? I haven't seen anyone else with this problem so I feel a bit helpless.
