VR and a Keyboard
I haven't been able to test it, and due to the disability I have I feel like it'd not be worth the time to test it, but is it possible to be in VR mode yet use Desktop mode controls? I want to be able to move around in the game and not have to use the hand controllers.

I wasn't a 100% sure, so I just tested it, yes you can use a headset with mouse + keyboard, the mouse is critical for using the menu.
I'm not sure about pressing buttons, or picking objects though...

Oh cool! I think I'll try it myself then when I get the time. Thanks!

After testing it, the keyboard works, but the mouse does not work for the grid menu, and for camera turning. I'm guessing this is not a solvable issue but that is all I found.

yeah... the thing is, it's basically made to use either one of those input options, not really a combination.
But I wonder, what kind of disability do you have? Maybe you have some other options?

I have congenital muscular dystrophy, which in turn causes me to have limited head and arm movement. I've tried some other ideas to get VR to work, but they haven't panned out.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know that doesn't help...
But I just remembered something that might help, depending how good you can use your thumbs :3
VRChat has Gamepad support, I never tried it but it should work: https://docs.vrchat.com/docs/gamepad
