Help! My VR Chat won't open past the login screen :<
I really really miss playing this game. I try to log in to my VR Chat account, and the log in appears to go through, but then it gets stuck on the blue loading screen (Completely blank, no loading circle or text). The music stays on, but nothing else happens no matter how long I leave it open. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it didn't help. Is there anything else I can try? :<

I have been also having an issue too, tho getting passed the login for me hasn't been the problem, just trying to load into the game keeps putting me into an un-ending loop of loading, then black screening for a second, then loading again until I get sent into an error world/map with some sort of message about joining the discord for help.

So I wonder if this also has anything to do with the issue you've got too?

Had this myself the other week.
Possible solutions,
1. delete your cache User>username>appdata>locallow>vrchat>vrchat>any items in the folders labeled "Cache". This will log you out, but you can't login so that doesn't matter. It is essentially like deleting cookies from a internet browser. You will have to re-download avatars and worlds like you are visiting them for the first time so load times will be longer.
2. Not sure how you are trying to login but; try logging in through Desktop mode first, and then back into VRmode. This worked for me
3. neither work? Time to hop to the discord and ask there.

Hey GuardianOfGeeks, I see there is no way to send a PM to anyone on here, so, let me know if you get that problem listed above fixed. I now too am going through the same issue. In VRC, I log in, log in screen goes away, and Im left just looking at the green fog, yet still hearing the VRC music, and nothing happens. Then, after about a minute of not doing anything, because I cant, theres nothing there to interact with, I then get a screen that says, something to the effect of, Your VRC connection has timed out. And Im like WHAT??!!

I'm getting the same problem too, except I don't get any notification of anything timing out. Already tried deleting the cache, asking in the Discord, uninstalling and reinstalling, connecting via a VPN, and updating my drivers. I've contacted the help desk hoping they can help diagnose the problem.

For folks still having this problem, the way I've been fixing it recently has been going to the steam button for it, right clicking, Manage >Browse local files, and then left clicking on the VRC application (The one that says Launch) in the folder and selecting run as administrator. Not an ideal solution, but it's been working consistently for me for a while now

Not working for me, I'm afraid. However, it does turn out that launching VRChat.exe directly (even without "run as administrator") does at least get me past the login screen! ...but it turns out that boots the game in offline testing mode. :C

So I guess that confirms that something must be going wrong with the login process...
someone pls help, ever since a blackout that lasted for more than a day happened the other day i havent been able to go into vrchat because it keeps saying im in something called "Offline Testing Mode" i have no idea what that means and i have no idea how to get rid of it because i really wanna play vrchat again its my favorite game...
