Why does it seem like my VRCHat account is not synced

I have spent 100 hours playing VRChat, but my account still shows me as a visitor. I have 25 friends and we play and chat on all different types of worlds. When I go to VRChat.com and log in it doesn't show my current friends list or any of my avatars. Does anyone know what is wrong and or have a fix? It just kinda bugs me because a lot of the time players have visitors muted off the rip. ty for your time and help hope to hear back from you soon.

It sounds like you're not signed into your VRChat account in the app client, and instead signed into your Steam/Oculus account. So when you sign into the website, it doesn't show your friends or change your rank, since that's technically not the account you're playing on.

thanks you were 100% right all i had to do was updgrade my steam account and link it to my actual vrchat account thanks man lol im dumb af smh thanks again btw

No worries! When you link your account you may not see everything move over right away. Sometimes it takes a bit for your rank and friends to move over, but they'll get there eventually.
