VRChat

Is there a way to disable the action menu?
TLDR; I use vive. The action menu is the same button I use for playspace mover. It disables my playspace mover. Can't play vrchat cuz of it.

So, many problems with this. I use playspace mover so I can get the blue walls out of my face when playing because it's so annoying to see that when I'm trying to have fun or have a conversation with someone. I also use playspace mover so I can configure my tracking properly. Sometimes I need to lower my body for it to fit properly, etc.

"But Sulli, why don't you walk away from the walls?" Well good sir, I can't because I had to get new headphones and the wire is too short and cant reach across my bedroom.
"Just buy a wireless headset." I'm not made out of money.
"Turn off the blue grid or lower the opacity." I don't wanna walk into a wall or fling my arm at it and break my controllers. And the opacity would still bug the hell out of me.
"Just fix your height." Sometimes that just doesn't work on some avatars, ya know? 😔

So if anyone knows a way to disable it, that'd be amazing. Cuz I really wanna play vrchat and this is just stopping me from playing completely.

You can disable it in the SteamVR settings where you can define what type of grid you want.

That's not exactly the issue I'm having though. I wanna get rid of vrchat's action menu. It stops my playspace mover from working.

Ahh, sorry, misunderstood. I you cannot disable the action menu as it's vital for driving features found in Avatar 3.0. As an alternative you could rebind one of your menu buttons in SteamVR to be something VRChat does not use.
