Video players do not work anymore
I have the new updated VR Chat (2020.3.2p4) and everything worked fine yesterday before I got automatically updated. When I go into karaoke worlds, the videos will not load for me. I have tried the usual tricks. I didn't have any Youtube DL in my .cache folder, so there was nothing to delete there. I also read that downloading a youtube DL file would make the videos load. The path was C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/VR Chat/VRChat_Data/Tools but i have no tools folder to put the youtube DL into. I tried to create my own, nothing worked.

I'm not sure what else to do now, since I tried (I think) everything I could with getting the videos to work. Maybe it's the new update that won't let the videos load? I'm not able to see any videos in any worlds at all that stream, not just certain ones.

I emailed support. They were really helpful. Let me paste my support answer so you can see if you can get yours to work too!

"You're receiving a "too many requests" error, indicating that YouTube (or whichever other video host you're accessing) has limited connections from your IP address. You may find luck in renewing your IP, connecting over VPN, or waiting a day or so."

let me tell you how to renew your IP address:

1. Navigate to the desktop. (From Home, tap or click the Desktop tile).
2. Right-click the Start button (the Windows logo in the lower-left).
3. Choose Command Prompt (Admin).
4. When asked whether to allow Command Prompt to make changes to your computer, select Yes.

Note: If you are asked for an administrative login, you will need to contact your system administrator.
5. Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and press Enter.
6. Type "ipconfig /registerdns" and press Enter.
7. Type "ipconfig /release" and press Enter.
8. Type "ipconfig /renew" and press Enter.
9. Type "netsh winsock reset" and press Enter.
10. Restart the computer.

After I did this, the videos played seamlessly for me again! See if this works <3

I think they might be having server issues. I was unable to watch quite a few videos on YT this afternoon.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
