Friends dissapearing

I had a fun session tonight, made tons of friends and we all added eachother, yet we discovered a problem that the friends list keeps deleting itself after some time and we kept having to readd eachother, from 6 people only 2 stayed on my list at the end of it. Its like everytime you opened the menu everything restarted. Lost contact to so many cool people due to this after we had to go :(

Exactly the same thing happened to me aswell.
Met 4 great people, and after I started the game up again and logged back in they were all gone from my friendslist, and I can't remember their usernames for the life of me :/

Any way to fix or revert this? I'd really like to add those folks again.

Had the same problem here... Really hope the devs have a look at this in the future... ive gotten used to write down the names in Notepad until this issue is fixed

Yup. In addition, I also can't add any new friends it seems.
Talked to some people I've send new friend invites, and none of them even got them in the first place.
I'm just adding everyone I can find on Steam now.

I guess steam adding is the way to go for now, i understand that its still early access and all of that but you'd think that perhaps something as simple as friend adding would work
