how to fullscreen

when i open the game in desktop mode i can´t fullscreen it wich makes me able to exit the VR chat window making the game crash

Not my idea found this when searching for another option for you to try

"Set launch options...". There enter "
-screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080
-screen-fullscreen 1" or whatever else width you'd prefer.

I would need to enter
-screen-width 2560 -screen-height 1440 -screen-fullscreen 1

tried on my monitor and this option also worked hopefully it does for you, if not try changing -screen-fullscreen to a 0 instead of a 1 run the game then quit and change it back to a 1.

If you haven’t already remember and try alt enter when the game launches after you’ve added the launch options.

Go onto the properties of VRChat on the General tab. It says launch options so you type '-screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080 -screen-full screen1' (you may copy and paste). Once in the game, you do alt+enter and it will work :)

Go on Steam
Right click VR Chat and click Properties
Type/copy-paste this into the Launch Options text box
-screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080 -screen-fullscreen 1
When launching; launch in Desktop Mode.

i have tried all of the guides but alt and enter dont work, putting in Launch Options text box
-screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080 -screen-fullscreen 1 doesnt work, pressing f11 doesnt work. im not sure what i am doing wrong?

not sure as you didnt give an example, buit adding -screen-fullscreen 1 should get you full screen as per https://docs.vrchat.com/docs/launch-options#resolution-screen-choice-and-native-unity-engine-launch-options

edit: just tried it and that indeed does get you full screen, (the eac splash screen stays a splash screen, then vrc launches in fullscreen) dont put quote marks in the launch options entry field just -screen-fullscreen 1
