I haven't played it like 6 months, but it worked before. I got this error and tried to update both through Windows and on the website, but it appears I'm all up to date. I have an AMD Radeon R9 200 Series, driver version 24.20.11016.4. I've also tried verifying the integrity of the game's files through Steam. I'm playing in Desktop mode, no VR. Any help would be appreciated.

Well, I can't really help you on that one cause I don't really know much about AMD; I did heard though that AMD have some issues with VR game in general. Also, the minimum requirement for VRChat is actually a AMD Radeon R9 290 so you are probably already barely at the minimum. Personally, I would recommend you to maybe go get a new GPU if you have the money for it but that's my own opinion (maybe don't get a new GPU if it's just for VRChat though). Hopefully, someone with more knowledge about AMD will be able to give you a fix for your issue.

Also, I'm gonna subscribe to the discussion now to get more knowledge about this issue since it doesn't seem that rare.

Hey, thanks for the input. I didn't realize I was cutting it so close with the graphics. I've been intending to upgrade some things anyway, so this is good to know. Hopefully more info will come out, I've seen a few other AMD comments, but so far no solutions.

Oh goodness! I didn't think of this. That's why I posted a question months ago that someone necroed.

That was sarcasm if you couldn't tell, I said everything was up to date in the OP. It still doesn't work, but I assume I just need a new graphics card since it seems to be on the low end anyway.
