Someone make my game broken

I was with a friend on a server, trying some new avatar when someone come and do some effect that making us crash, i think they changed our avatar. but now everytime we start the game we crash again and again before we can do something. How can we fix it ? uninstall the game didn't work, closing steam neither

i experienced this kinda issue for the third time in 2 weeks, it starts when some guy make you crash and then when you try to restart the game it crashes after loading, game freezes. It solved by himself by doing nothing more than play another game, few hours later (these 2 times it was 6 hours periods). But today the crash is worse, it started kinda 12 hours ago and doesn't work yet. I'm suspicious it could be kinda warning short period bans for misbehaving, wearing controversial avatar, etc.

I saw the "forced avatar change" in an avatar testing world before.
I guess the person changed your avatars to something with that much effects that it crashes your game or so.

Did you try to launch VRChat with pressing Shift?
That way you can set lower graphics settings.

solved it, before running the game you must clear your cache by pressing windows button and looking for cmd.exe, then you must paste this command "rmdir /S /Q %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\VRChat\vrchat && rmdir /S /Q %TEMP%\VRChat && REG DELETE HKCU\Software\VRChat\vrchat /va" and hit Yes... now reinstall the game and run it.

clearing cache work ! but the best thing to do i think it's create a vrchat account, like that you can switch your avatar from the website, no need to uninstall and reinstall the game ! (and you can link your steam account to your vrchat account)
