Avatar favorites not working

So I have favorite avatars like everyone else but i noticed a problem, my avatars will not unfavorite. I had unfavorited a few avatars to make room for better ones and the ones i unfavorited did not leave my favorites and my new ones don't appear. This is a frustrating issue because the avatars i favorited i want to use. Is there any way i can fix this? Google has lead to dead ends at each turn. If needed i can provide picture examples of my problem

I can unfavorite avatars but I can't favorite new ones....

November that's the same issue i'm having. I unfavorite an avatar and it wont leave my list, but i can favorite new ones and they don't appear.

I've also experienced this bug. It was perfectly fine until tonight when I decided to delete some avatars from my favorites to make room for new ones. But despite deleting the avatars, they didn't vanish from my favorites. The number went down but the avatars didn't disappear. And then, upon reopening the avatar menu, again, the number of avatars was the same as before I deleted them. I have no idea why this is happening now since it was working perfectly fine before.

I'm having exactly the same issue. Persists on logouts and logins, after restarting the application, and my computer.

Try to clear your cache and restart the application. It fixed my avatar list after I did that.

steam -> settings -> download -> clear download cache -> click yes

once you do this it will reboot steam and ask you to sign in. though i did this and it didnt work as the avatars i had unfavorited didnt disappear nor could i still unfavorite any avatar and get the to vanish.
