how to hide your own avatar?

i have a thomas the tank engine avatar and i cant see anything when i look down, even looking down a tiny bit blinds me

If you made the avatar yourself, you can adjust the viewpoint in Unity.
If it's from some public world, you can either contact the author or find a replacement with a better viewpoint placement.
