For the sake of people who later search for the answer to this question, can you share what you did? I don't have an occulus so I can't answer.

If a Vive user finds this thread and wonders the same thing, you can use software called OVR Drop and another software called Advanced Settings to copy the link to the video you want, then focus the VRChat window with the url box active, and then use advanced settings > Utilities > keyboard to paste in your link and hit enter, all without ever leaving VR. (useful if you have a room dedicated to VR with a pc in a different room)

ok its a little annoying to do but this is how i figured it out. On my other monitor i alt tabbed to the url then highlighted it and did ctrl c. Then clicked on the vrchat icon in my taskbar. From there i put my headset back on then used my oculus controller to click the url space in the world and then did ctrl v to paste the url. Lastly i clicked enter and then clicked play in the world. It is tedious but still fun to see videos in vrchat.

Replying here because this one of the first links on google! You can copy and paste with OVR. Get in vr. Load the game. Find something to paste into, like a video player, click it. Then open the steamvr desktop view inside of vr. I prefer to copy by using middle click on my index controllers, and after it's copied, make sure to click the VRchat application on your desktop that you see in vr. Then open OVRs settings and go down to.. options? Sorry, it's like 2 am and I am in bed.. lol. There's a CTRL + V, and then hit that. It will paste into whatever is your focused application. Which would be Vrchat and it's all done within the headset!

That's one of the ways! Took me awhile and this is free!
