HELP! Audio Interface not working in VRChat :(

I have an audio interface - a Scarlett 2i2. I can't get to use my mic and guitar which are plugged into it simultaneously :( It only allows my mic if the mic setting is at default, and only my guitar if it is set to the software "Focusrite". Help pls devs :'(

im having the same problem with a different audio interface (Behringer umc404hd) nobody can tell me why ive been trying to fix it for a whole day now. my interface works on discord and i did select it in the mic source part of the systems menu in game i even disabled the built in mic nothing i do works and im so frustrated

Yeah, me too! Although in my case, I can only get one of the inputs to work at any one time. Its either you can only hear my mic or you can only hear my guitar. :(

my audio interface doesnt work with steam nor most of steam games but any other game with voice chat or discord/skype etc. it works fine on really weird

I got it to work in a really round about way. I went and downloaded a virtual mixer called voicemeeter. I ran the interface into the virtual mixer and I output the driver that voicemeeter came with and put that driver as default mic in sound recording. Lastly I made sure the driver was the source in vrchats system menu. Also I had to fumble with voicemeeters controls. the first time I tried it I was putting out echo but I eventually got it to work took about 30 minutes to do so.

@DoomsdayMarverick yes for me they worked with the virtual mixer i was able to play guitar and sing in game

This is extremely late, but in case anyone comes to this thread in the future for this problem, I had it and I fixed it by moving my mic plugin to the left channel on the interface.

Oh my god. It's not late at all at least for me. I had hard time figuring out my audio inputs in games with my audio interface, and your tipe worked!!! Thank you so much. I didn't know left or right channel matters.
