VRChat Custom Avatar Emote Not Working Properly

Hello, I recently got into VRChat and made a custom avatar. I tried using the override animation guide and replaced an emote with a custom animation of my own. When I attempted to test it in VRChat, it just keeps playing the emote over and over again until a certain point. How do I limit the amount of times the emote plays? Do each of the animations have custom amount of frames I can change? Any help would be appreciated.
