VRChat
Access Violation (0xc0000005)
Hello World!

I've been playing VR-chat for an odd 50+ hours now and i'm loving it.

Although.. ever since i started playing my game has been randomly crashing. This happens everyday and occurs at random times - When i'm loading into a world or simply running around in one. The amount of time i have spent in a world is not consistent.

Every time i load into a new world i'm praying to some godly being that it doesnt crash - 90% of the time it does.

So i check my VRchat folder and it's FILLED with crash report folders, and i'm looking for help.. urgent help- cause right now the game is unplayable as i have to restart my game every 5-10 minutes.

Crash report as follows:

Unity Player [version: Unity 5.6.3p1_9c92e827232b]

mono.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)

clearing your cache seems to fix this problem.

go to %appdata%, back out of the roaming folder, go into the LocalLow folder, go to the VRChat folder, and delete folders (or the files within those folders) HTTPCache and VRCHTTPCache.

basically, you're getting rid of the things that download (characters, worlds) during play.

I'm sorry, but it's just how this game works.

If you're using the steam version, be sure to do a verify the game files just to make sure you've got everything in order.
I ran into the same issue. I tried this and it worked great, everything was good.... until today. I loaded up, got going and it crashed again for the same reason. So I went and cleared the cache again, loaded up and tried to go to another world and crashed again for the same reason again.
For me it says the same,
my game only starts crashing when i use my Vr and i get graphical problems on the headset screen but on the Monitor everything work perfectly.
I tried clearing my cache, reinstalling, verifying, everything except for sacrificing a goat to satan. Nothing worked. I crash randomly and get the same error and no one on the internet knows what's up. I think we're screwed boys
same mono.dll problem here
The vrchat support got back with me and said my problem was my wireless audio device, and it turned out to be correct. They said to use a different headset and that fixed my problem
