VRChat

VRCHAT takes too long to load
t was normal until the 25th, where I simply take almost 30 minutes to get into the hub, and when I enter, all the servers that show that there are people online when I click have 0 people. It seems that the internet inside game is extremely slow to load, but my internet is very good, has no problem in that regard. I have already tried to change the spawn in steam, delete the folder VRCHAT No% TEMP%, I already tried to uninstall / restart steam and VRCHAT. I've tried restarting the PC and updating the video card driver and it just does not work, everything takes a long time, from loading my account until I get into some kind of room.

ps:Before that all was normal, it did not take less than 30 seconds, now it is almost hours for me to play VRCHAT.

Did all troubleshooting methods on my end, its on VRChat. I have a guide written by Support so if mine didn't work then either resetting your IP (which you shouldn't do) or waiting it out.

I tried to reset my ip and still nothing, could you send me this guide? although I'm already half hopeless, since nothing seems to work in this game

There's a few things we can try right off the bat to see if you've got something easily solvable. Follow the steps below and we'll see how it goes.

Do me a favor and try clearing your cache. You can clean cache by deleting the vrchat folder within C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\LocalLow\VRChat. AppData is a hidden folder, and you may have to enable visibility of hidden folders in Windows Folder Options.

Once you've done that, try opening the Properties for VRChat in Steam and choose "Verify Integrity of Game Files" under the local files tab.

Now, let’s clear VRChat settings (PlayerPrefs). On Windows, open the regedit app and delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VRChat\vrchat. Please be careful when editing your registry, this can potentially damage your computer.

Ensure that you are running the latest version of Windows, and that your GPU drivers are up to date. Please note that we do not support the Insider Edition of Windows 10.

Also, if you're getting crashes, try using a different headset or audio device. Some USB headphones/headsets are known to cause crashes. This will be fixed in a future Unity patch.

Finally, please whitelist VRChat.exe in your antivirus program and any firewalls you might have running. If you can't whitelist the application (or if it doesn't appear to work), try disabling real-time protection on your antivirus and your firewall while you play VRChat. Don't forget to turn it back on!

If you're still having issues, please reply to this email with your logs. Here's how to find them:

Let's grab your output log. You can find it at C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\LocalLow\VRChat\vrchat;outputlog.txt. Please attach this log to your ticket. If your output log is large (more than 1 megabyte), please delete it and reproduce your issue before sending it. Don't copy and paste the contents, attach the text file!

Also, if you have any error folders in your VRChat folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\VRChat) please include those as well. They are typically named in a format like this: 2017-08-01_195906. It works best when you ZIP all of the files up. Please do not try to send your VRChat_Data folder!

Unfortunately none of this worked, where should I send the email? And thank you for trying to help me.

Yea sending an email would be best and tell them you already went over the usual list given. They gave me this in thier email when I had problems

I have this exact same issue except it's now almost 2019. I cannot find anybody else who has the same issue. Everything that requires loading in this game is instantly 10x longer than it usually would be (that includes loading into the game, loading any tabs in your menu; social, etc. Also loading into worlds, accepting friend requests). I have a large number of hours on the game and it has worked perfectly fine in the past. So it's very strange that all of a sudden I can't load up my game. I have done most of the things shown in this email however nothing seems to work. It is almost unplayable.

I would really appreciate if people could actually look back into this issue after so long.
Thanks

I have the same issue. When I try loading a world on a different computer it works fine but on my computer it doesn't. I've tried almost all of the tricks listed above and even reinstalled the game. I am getting very frustrated at this.
same here... now worlds and even my friends avatar take longer than usual to load. any solution to this?

Have the same problem since the 25th of december 2021.
The support didn't help me at all, they asked for output_logs and stopped responding.
