High Ping

Hello I have just started playing and have been having issues with abnormally high ping which I don't get in other games. I'm playing around on the non-VR Version of the game if that affects anything. Help with solving this would be appreciated.

The servers are in the US and it seems you're in Oz.
I think that's the main issue with your ping.

You don't have it in other games because they are on different servers elsewhere that have less "round-trip time" from you to them and back to you... You might of noticed that in some games you can "choose your region" West, East, Oceanic, ect.. so that is the choice of a closer server base for that game... sometimes it just is done automatically.

The only real fix is that VRChat gets global servers that would be closer to you.... hopefully VRChat gets them as well.

That's really a shame I was looking forward to be able to meet some new people on there :(
