How to log into VR chat using steam account on quest from pc

Ive been playing vrchat through steam on my pc and I just recently got a quest. should the same password from steam log me in on VRchat on quest?

No, both steam and oculus logins can't be shared between clients. These accounts technically dont even have passwords and use information passed directly from steam or oculus to sign you in. It's like somewhat of a guest account. You will need to merge your steam account into a VRChat account, and then you will be able to sign in with it on the Quest.
