VRChat Black Screen
I need a little bit of help. When I launch VRChat I see a black screen and the "Access the Steam Community..." thing in the bottom right corner in going crazy.

I have already tried the following:
-uninstalling and reinstalling
-checking game file integrity
-vrchat://launch?id=wrld_69ab9cdf-5436-46bd-98b5-714837a53b4f

Nothing I've done has worked, and everyone I've talked to hasn't heard of this problem. It is different from the constant loading screen problem.

If any one is tech savy and willing to help a guy out, it would be VERY appreciated.

Thanks Guys (and Gals)

Update:

I have now tried:
- deleted C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\LocalLow\VRChat\vrchat <--- I found two cache folders and deleted both of them
- deleted HKCU\Software\VRChat\vrchat in the Regedit app
- used a steam cleaner to remove unnecessary files

I am still having the same problem as above

Try deleting the entire cache directory. I think that worked for me.

Can you walk me through this? I cleared the download cache on steam but I don't think that is what you are talking about.

I went to the VRChat Question Page thing and I am talking to VRChat people. I'll let you know if we find anything.

Ok, so apperently they are disconnects? The servers are too bogged down for us to load. Don't think there is much we can do but wait unfortunately.

I was having this issue as well up until a few minutes ago. All I had to do was change my screen resolution from 1920*1080 to 1600*900. It looks like garbage, yeah, but we all have to make sacrifices.

Update: I launched in 1600*900 but switched back to 1920*1080 and it's working. No promises it'll stay that way.
