Equippable Items with Hand animation
As title say, probably already discuss, I want to have in my avatar a playable animation (through toggle expression and not gesture override) wich is holding an item with a specific hand pose...

I manage to create the basic animation with everything inside (hand pose and gun showing) but when I'm playing the expressione the hand doesn't take the animation parameters I've setted and continue to follow the normal gesture with the track... There is a way to fix it?

You didn't mention the platform you're on/using but, if you're on VR and you're using controllers with finger tracking like the Index controllers, hand positions will not work.

My bad... Currently I'm using the HTC Vive (The first commercial release)
I am trying to do something similar. I was told to use the VRC Animator Tracking Control to disable tracking on the fingers for the hand the item goes in.

Unfortunately for me... despite the fact that the toggle boolean is working... the tracking control is changing to 'animation', and the animation *is* running... the fingers still do not close on the sword.

For the record, I am on Occulus Quest 2... though I am using the link cable.
