VRChat
Error updating content. Asset bundle upload failed. Failed to upload file.
Pretty much this. Probably the server is down, but if it's not then what is causing the problem?

Simple fix, just go to VRChat SDK (menu) and hit Settings, there you can turn off 'Future Proofing'.

Okay.
I'll edit this once I try it out.

I'm still experiencing this issue, but Future Proofing is turned off.

I'm having the issue, I'm trying with futureproof on since the later didn't work.

Not quite sure if it's related - and this is an old thread - however, I found it just today while wrestling with a similar sounding error--

'Error updating content, the asset bundle is out of date. Please rebuild the scene using New build. The blueprint ID in the scene does not match the ID in the asset bundle'.

The issue, in my case, was that I had an extra space at the end of hte original Blueprint ID I was re-attaching... Once I removed that, it got rid of the issue.

Did this fix it?

For anyone experiencing this issue, double-check that the Unity version you are using is EXACTLY the same as VRChat's Unity version. Everything down to the patch release and suffix must match. VRChat will refuse to load your content if it's not exactly the same Unity version.
