Avatar Descriptor?

Trying to upload avatar and is saying that I'm missing a scene or avatar descriptor, any help would be appreciated!

You need to go to the model you're trying to upload, click on it, "Add Component" at the bottom of the inspector.

Then it's basically just typing in "VRC_Avatar_Descriptor" and adding it. Make sure you adjust the player view to match your head/eyes, but if you're unsure, leave it and upload and fix later.

You need to import the SDK. It's on their site and even in the update post pinned in discussions.

That doesn't explain to me where I have to click on that model. In Unity? On _open file with right button with mouse or what?

I had this problem too, apparently, you need to select your avatar while its out first. It'll be surrounded by an orange line and then you can do it

I've tried to add the component it keeps saying that it's invalid. It won't take it. What do I do?

ok so can i get a description on exactly what to do? the vrchat website was pretty vague when it comes to directions and i'm not super good with computers. can anyone give me a precise description on what i have to do to get the avatar descriptor working?

If you have the descriptor added, at the right side, in the descriptor, select at the "lipSync" and select "Viseme blend shape". You will need then to drag and drop your model body mesh (that's on the left side) to the Face mesh (in the descriptor on the right). Then associate all the viseme with the one needed (so the Viseme : sil go with the vrc.v_sil and etc). Then you need to make sure the view point of your charater is at the eye lvl of your model. And then you could upload the model in vrchat (though you will more likely have other stuff to do here and there to make sure everything is working correctly but you shold check tutorial at that point)
