Did you try using a different shader to see if it works? If not, try using the standard shader.

in unity have you tried using cutout or transparent on the blush?

Most likely because Cubed's shaders were designed for use with Unity 5.6, they've been all kinds of messed up since the move to the 2017 version of Unity. Instead of stacking shader layers correctly, it stacks them in the complete opposite direction, which leads to all kinds of problems, especially when trying to layer a cutout layer on top of a opaque layer, or a fade layer on top of either of the two above it.

The only solution I've found is to use another shader. Keep in mind you can (in theory) still shade the face/body of the avatar with Cubed's and just shade the tears/blush/sweat/nervous forehead stuff with the other shader.
