Yeah that wont work lol, doing that basically means you did not delete it. Go to pipeline manager and hit detach it is in the same place as avatar descriptor. BUT override the model with a cube on that ID before deleting.

in your upload manager, you can choose to delete the uploaded avatar. that will remove any copies that use that blueprint id. Then in unity, you can choose to clear the blueprint id on the avatar, and upload it as a new avatar with a new blueprint id.

alternativly, some pleople like to copy the old blueprint id first, so they can upload something else with that id, and it will replace any copies of that the avatar using that id

Reupload the avatar as a cube, then delete it. Then upload the model as a new ID.

Basically make a cube then put vrc descriptor on the cube. Copy the blueprint id from the model that was stolen too the cube reupload it then delete it. Then just reupload your avatar again it should give you a fresh new blueprint id. And you are all set.

If you do not have the previous id anymore you cannot overwrite it sadly.

Its just a extra precaution, usually deleting the avatar means you cannot use the ID. So whoever stole it cannot either.
