Can i download avatar model from vrchat?

In the game there is a model in which I literally fell in love. That is why I worry that it or the world where this avatar can be found will be deleted. I would like to keep this model on my PC, and if it possible, transfer it to MMD or another program for 3D models. Is it possible to do this?

You cannot download the model from the game itself. The latest update does give the options to favorite avatars from world's now, but this wouldn't help in the situation you stated. The only way to get the model is to either find where the world creator got it, or if it is a custom model maybe try contacting the creator somehow and ask them.

There's also the highly fround upon method of cache ripping, however this violates the terms of use of vrchat and risks getting banned. I don't know how it's done all i know is it requires a hacked client and I and other model Creator's hate it because it nullifies all our hard work when we make a model just for others to steal them and upload it as theirs
