Not yet allowed to publish?

I have run VRChat for several hours, then I try to upload my own avatar using VRC SDK in Unity (5.6.3p1). However it says: "Not yet allowed to publish avatars/worlds" and asks me to spend more time in the app.

I tried to figure out what is their requirement for unlocking the uploading (I also noticed that the same warning sentence is written on my VRChat homepage), however I found few people talking about this issue.

Any solutions/suggestions?

Yes. Same problem here. When i press build & publish button, it makes pop up and said "You'll need to spend more time enjoying the app. We do this for security reasons, and so you can learn more about us."

I think this means 'play vrchat more times' but i can't find how long.
or anyone another opinion?

I played 6 hours but still have this issue. However my friend only played 2 hours but can upload his own avatar. I guess it is not the in-game hour that matters?

I am having the same issue.
My friend downloaded it and used it a few hours before me and had no issues. I have been having this issue for 3 days now. I have left the program open for days and also built my own avatar from the ground up.
I have also made 3 accounts and reinstalled the program a few times to no avail.
SOMEONE please help!

It's not an issue. It's the update they implemented where new accounts are not allowed to upload custom avatar and world. Also if you get too many people blocking you it can trigger this and you won't be allowed to upload avatar.

It's a security feature to prevent people from just creating multiple accounts to troll in game. Like uploading porn avatars and just trolls who purposely ruins people's game

Thank you フラグメンツ! I wrote a mail to VRC support, and here is the reply I got. Hope it is useful to others who have the same situation.

Any idea how long it takes before you're allowed to upload? My account is a month old and I've been using it on and off with friends as i have time.

It depends on a certain system that determines whether or not you are a troll . It's based of how many friends you got, how often you get blocked and other stuff. It took me 30 hours to be able to upload avatars ( still don't klnow why.)

from the sound of things, the new update is a combination of troll-proofing, and a means of sneakilly allowing the community to police itself via not allowing toxic people to enjoy the full game.

bout a month or 2 time for my main / dupe account becvause i'm not on it too too much due to job and other stuff soo have less then 500 hours in game actualy but yet over 250 friends 12 of witch were streamer / youtubers and many many models made so only thing thats ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me over it seems is leteral time i spend in game

bucause everyone else even newer accounts are trusted rank and mine is still user witch is semi retarded been around since beta almost on steam and leteraly only blocked or kicked outa rooms 5 times over that entire time

soo needs less to say i know your pain with this new system

I just want to play 2D rps that allow things like Slaanesh in the Roleplay. 2D rp in Roblox? Heavens no they are to young. 2D rp on VR? I am not sure. I'm just annoyed at this. I wish there was an alternate 2D rp that was not on Roblox and let you upload any image within reason.
