A) make sure you're signed in your your vrchat account through the unity sdk. Should be in the settings tab from the vrcsdk menu. It needs to be an account made on the vrchat website, not steam
B) if your are signed into the right account, go to your avatar descriptor and look for something called the "blueprint id". There should be a button called detach blueprint id if one is already assigned. Press that to clear it and try re-reuploading your model.
Another is the Descriptor could be somewhere in your model's heiarchy that made a blueprint on attempted upload, so you may have 2 blueprint components on your model and it doesn't understand what one to use.
This is all guessing possible situations without seeing the issue.
Go back into the scene and select your avatar. This is where the VRC_Descripter component should be located.
Under the Pipeline Manager component, click detach. Then you can upload.
