Can I get some help with getting MMD models into Unity?

So Ive been at this for 2 days now and I'm obessed. I cant seem to get it right!
Ive followed both these videos

Everything seems to go well UNTIL i go into VR Chat and try to switch to my new skin. It's a silhouette, red or blue. Nothing loads (pretty sure its not because i run on hot spot though?)

Anyways I use blender to bring down the faces and triangles, clean up bones, remove any unwanted parts of the model. Export it into .fbx and put that entire folder with textures into Unity. I have the SDK inside already and "Cubeds-Unity-Shaders-master" ready to go. Everything is going well.
I fix bones if needed to work right. and then I make sure the model is not giant and add the VCR I need. Then she looks good to go, everything loads up just fine.

So besides that Im at a loss on how to fix this! PLEASE HELP.

Tupper is the guy I learned the MMD to Unity stuff from. His videos might help a bit more

Sounds like everything should be fine. The servers have been quite laggy this last week, and some people are having random loading issues (some can't even launch the game)
Maybe it's just the server being buggy right now

With the huge spark in popularity I suppose that can be the issue. Man I hope they are working on patches to fix this!
And @SHOKK ahhhh Tupper okay I'll take a look at his work.
