"Failed to create file record"
When trying to upload a model I just get the message "failed to create file record" after setting the name etc. What am I doing wrong?

Why dont you read the big red error message you got at the bottom of Unity?

Completely missed that somehow, thanks.

Sadly I have very little (read: no) experience in unity so even reading a few forums didn't exactly help much. Any advice (in easily understandable terms) would be greatly appreciated :D:

I'm having the same problem. Did you end up finding a fix for this problem?

I've been told, that the vrchat sdk is faulty and we'd have to wait for a fix on their part.

I just found this page after getting this issue, but have now solved it.
What solved it for me was removing any space from the name. Hope it helps!

I'm having this same issue, I've tried removing spaces between the name and it didn't help at all.

Update the sdk. Maybe it will solve the issue

Already updated to the latest sdk and I still have the same problem
