Avatar not showing up ingame? (Resolved)

I have been try to make my own player model and follow this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQG_a8AW1CI&t=539s
It seem to work well I used this model for my frist time https://free3d.com/3d-model/elesis-travelers-set-3d-model-92833.html as seem people on here like these type of things so throught id give it a go all was going well here a pic of it saying its in game https://i.imgur.com/HUVEc2I.png but when I got into game with steam login or VR one there no model under personal? what am I doing wrong?

How long did it take to show up? I've been wwaiting now for about 45 minutes and nothing.

It shows in unity as uploaded, but it doesn't appear in game.

I uploaded one late last night and the sever were having issues then did the same upload today and its worked am just starting my second avatar and let you know how it goes soon.

but after uploading took a few mins and few relogs to see it.

^^^^ My second try at an other Avartar this one from Dead space 3 and lot more high detailed It took me after getting her set up a total of 3/4 mins to show up in game no issues.

I like to say I have this locked down now and know how to get basic models into game with not much issues.

Yes, I am having the same problem as well. I am signed into my VRchat account, not steam, which should make it work, but it does not.

You need to be using the correct version of unity. Even if the version you are using is newer than the one VRChat recommends, you have to use it or your avatars will not appear. Install the correct version here: https://unity3d.com/unity/qa/patch-releases/5.6.3p1

^^^^^ what they said also I found cos I had other files in my project folder it was getting mixed up when uploading so try to keep the folder as clean as possible only use what files you need for the upload am working on about 10 diffrant one and soon as i got the hang going to give them out once i find a way to distrabute them.

I was using that version before, but the entirety of unity would crash when I tried to upload an avatar, I downloaded what was apparently the same version, but with 2017 instead of 5, and it let me export it. idk what's happening right now with it though

You need to log in to vrchat on your vrchat account since the models are sent on that
