I literally went online after a long time and because my avatar is from readyplayerme which is a free easy way to make a quick avatar some weird girls told me "what is this ugly looking sims-like avatar" or "you suck" or "dude get the f out of here with your cartoon".

Kinda funny when they all wearing 3d anime avatar with cringy and stupid looking assets.
Listen I'm 26, I'm still young but maybe too old for this kinda 💩 I don't care and still use any freaking avatar I want, If I find it funny or entertaining.

I'll not enjoy my time by looking at my avatar in the mirror.

There's a lot of things that I don't understand with this community quite frankly, I've met some good guys tho funny af and even some trolling and memers, I perfer them than those "bad" e/boys-girls, they really think theey are superior to you with their fancy avatar It's so cringe, creepy sometimes too.

VRchat seem like a dating vr app more than anything, it's extremely toxic and cancerous, It's really difficult for me to tell anyone to try it out, it's a weird place.

The community is not toxic, if you give a chance to everyone, to express himself.

Many people have values and are mature in it, i'm 29, been playing for a while now, and formed a great and solid crew of friends on it.

It is just your job to create opportunity to meet the right people, by staying positive and create a great mindset.

Treat others as you would treat yourself, the more sweet and welcoming you will be to others and less judging, the more you will meet nice people.

It's like any other large community. There are plenty of decent people out there, but you're eventually going to cross paths with a few toxic individuals.

It's easy. Go to the Black Cat, look for people using an e-girl avatar, and try to strike up a conversation with them without an e-boy avatar. Nine times out of ten they'll start talking trash about your avatar or rank.
